Cambodia was a heartbreaking country because of its poverty and terrible history however we loved the people and sites like Angkor Wat made us in awe of this great country.

Our first and last stop during our 10 week trip of South East Asia included Bangkok and the beautiful Koh Chang, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan.

My second reunion with Claire and Caroline who I met in South America took place in the beautiful Belgium :D

Lake Kariba, walking with lions and Victoria Falls made this beautiful country a highlight of the trip.

Although we only spent 3 nights in Malawi at the lovely Kande beach we got a real feel for the country and found the locals to be very friendly especially the children.

Beautiful beaches on Zanzibar, lions in the Serengeti and the stunning Ngorongoro Crater...it could only be Tanzania.

In just over a week we covered a lot of ground in Kenya visiting Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, the Masai Mara and a particularly memorable visit to a school.

I spent a fanatstic 2 weeks in Ecuador where I visited Cuenca, Banos, the Amazon, Otavalo and Quito.

When I first arrived in South America I spent 3 days in La Paz visiting the witches market and generally exploring the city. This album contains 2 sub-albums with 27 pictures in.

In September 2005 I went to Berlin for 2 weeks work experience in a hospital specialising in heart conditions. Subsequently I was watching heart surgery most days and managed to take some pictures. WARNING: If you are squeamish, don't look at the album titled 'Heart Surgery'! There are also photos of the city.
